FERNANDO OTERO

Simplicity of the color palette and the spareness of the form give Fernando Otero’s work a visual authority.

The artist’s use of color and material have a minimalist relevance for today.  Both raw and refined, Otero’s paintings possess a   totemic quality.  It is within this dialectic that the artist gives his viewers an authentic and true beauty.

LEONARDO MOLEIRO

Leonardo Moleiro defines himself as a graphic cubist and calls his style "Graphic Cubism", which is nothing more than the mixture of forms, his color palette, space management and composition with graphic treatment-inherited from graphic design in advertising.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela,  Moleiro was interested in music and the visual arts. The artist grew up in a household of 7 woman so it is natural that the female figure is ever present in his work.   Cheerful color and abstract forms are the essence of his work, from which he has garnered international acclaim and recognition.

ALEJANDRA MANDELBLUM

Alejandra Mandelblum’s personal art explores themes of dislocation and nostalgia for a homeland in a perpetual state of political upheaval. Employing both vibrant colors and organic geometries common in her hometown of Caracas, Mandelblum seeks to contrast the country’s tropical beauty and past prosperity with its current surreal deterioration. At the same time, Mandelblum's interest in processes of degeneration and regeneration and biological microworlds create fantastical aspects of human experience.

JUAN LUIS LANDAETA

A retrospective modernist approach to painting, - combines expressionistic brushstokes over boomerang forms that echo back to modernist podchairs and cool design. Via Landaeta’s
bright lush color and brushwork the viewer is transported to an ideal floating world of shape and color.
